LOGISTICS MANAGER
We currently require a dedicated, dynamic and detail-oriented person to provide positive and professional leadership to our manufacturing and marketing operations by managing procurement, receiving and warehousing; coordinating inbound, in-plant and outbound logistics; managing inventory. This position requires a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and experience in manufacturing logistics.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Inbound Logistics
    • Plan material requirements based on production forecasts and schedules furnished by management
    • Manage procurement, from established suppliers, and establish a schedule for all inbound materials
    • Ensure goods are physically received against packing slips and purchase orders
    • Ensure that all goods are properly stored, organized and labeled
  2. In-plant logistics
    • Ensure materials are delivered, in a timely fashion, to all departments
    • Coordinate work schedules for all departments to ensure a smooth flow of materials and in-process items between departments.
    • Maintain a system to ensure control of all goods moving between departments
    • Manage finished goods inventory
  3. Outbound Logistics
    • Working with production, sales and customer service persons, coordinate shipping of finished goods to customers in Canada, United States and Japan
    • Maintain a system to ensure control of all goods leaving the premises
    • Ensure proper and accurate documentation, including export documents, for all goods shipped
  4. Inventory Management
    • Ensure inventories are maintained at a level adequate to support production and to meet customer needs while recognizing the need to achieve economies.
    • Ensure accurate inventory counts
  5. Leadership
    • The logistics manager will be responsible for all warehouse and materials handling staff including staff training to ensure accuracy and accountability.

 

DESIGN ASSISTANT
Work with our designer to create Parts Manuals and Operator’s Manuals, document engineering changes, develop and produce manuals for manufacturing processes.
Applicants must have a solid working knowledge of 3D design software (Autodesk Inventor) coupled with keen interests in farm equipment and manufacturing

WELDER-FITTERS
We have opportunities on our frames line and in our small-parts shop. Applicants must have MIG-welding experience and work well in a team environment. We work in a clean, modern, well-equipped facility at 3098 Bruce Road 3, Paisley, Ontario

LIFT TRUCK OPERATOR / MATERIALS HANDLER
For warehouse and yard work. Duties will include unloading incoming materials, loading finished machines for shipment to customers in Canada, United States and Japan, delivering materials to various work stations as required and maintaining a Central Stores area. We operate a fleet of modern, well-maintained lift trucks with capacities to 16.000 pounds.
This position requires a cautious and vigilant attitude, excellent co-ordination and motor skills and a desire to work with and respect the safety and efforts of others. Experience is not a requirement; any successful candidate will be trained to our high standards. We have a training session scheduled for the week of June 30th.

MACHINE ASSEMBLERS
For final assembly of our industry-leading Hydra-Spread hydraulic-push manure spreaders. The work involves lots of nuts & bolts assembly as well as hydraulic and powertrain components.
This position requires attention to detail and a desire to get it right. Our reputation is built on the quality and performance of our machines; our final assembly team will ensure we continue to earn that reputation.
